Recruitment Process - Temporary / Casual Placements
The Galaxy Personnel recruitment process is based on our tried and proven methodology.
All candidates who qualify to go on our database go through a rigorous recruitment and selection process that includes a telephone pre-screening of work experience and skills prior to personal interview, personal one on one interview, skills testing (as required - including testing in our workshop for trades staff), OH&S testing, reference checking and qualification / licence verification. Medical and Police checks, Dexterity and Numeracy testing can be arranged as necessary. We can tailor make a selection process to suit your organisation's requirements. This ensures that any candidate referred by us to you has the skills and experience to match what you are looking for.
Our specialist Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical trades' staff have a thorough understanding of the concepts of GMP and HACCP along with the implications of non-compliance. They can be pre-inducted and ready to start work the minute they arrive on your site.
A follow up process is enacted for all temporary / casual placements.

Our staff will take a brief of the role with you over the phone and then make a suitable appointment to visit the site to learn more about the functions of the role, the people, the culture etc.
We will then ensure our assignment specification is 100% accurate to ensure that we have the right candidate to fit your requirements. Your Consultant will undertake a detailed database search to see if we have a candidate to suit your requirements, otherwise advertise to find the best possible match to your position.
