Located in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs and well regarded in their field our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Estimator  to join their team.

 

The role offers diversity and the opportunity to utilise your Trade skills in Boilermaking combined with your experience in CNC Programming ideally in a CNC Beamline machine.

 

On a day to day basis you will liaise with customers on workshop drawings, detailing drilling and/or cutting specification and tolerances.

 

You will then be required to generate quote and negotiate order/price from customer detailing and confirm delivery timeframes.

 

This is in conjunction to liaising with internal parties, generating picking slips, programming of beamline computer and ensuring production scheduling meets clients deadlines.

 

A Trade background in Boilermaking is an advantage, combined with strong interpersonal skills, including ability to negotiate and understand the importance of supplying a superior level of Customer Service.

 

Experience in reading Engineering Drawings essential combined with a knowledge of Fastbream.
