Our client a small Engineering workshop based in the Eastern Suburbs is seeking an experienced Procurement/Quality Officer to join their team.
The role ideally would suit a Trade Qualified Fitter/ Boilermaker or alternatively a candidate with a proven background within an Engineering Stores environment.
Working closely with the Workshop Manager you will work closely with suppliers, purchasing of materials, negotiating price and lead time. Duties will include the following:
- purchasing workshop materials and consumables
- maintaining workshop supplies
- processing of job orders through the system
- supervision of routine workshop maintenance and equipment maintenance
- checking of timesheets
- ensuring quality standards are met
Uniform and phone will be supplied after a qualifying period and working hours area 7am-3.30pm.
